With only a few hours since the last post, this is just a quick update. As I’m sure you’ve noticed I’ve switched my Wordpress theme, but as the previous theme was designed with the content in mind rather than the other way around, things have become rather messy and such. No worries though! Within the next few days I’ll be updating the entire site to match the new theme.

But that’s not all, there’s some other MUCH bigger, exciting news coming as well! That’s all I’ll say for now, though ; )

Hello everyone, I’m deep in the middle of upgrading my Wordpress installation, and as you may have noticed somethings aren’t working right. Lightbox is no longer functioning for images and the whole gallery system is done. Bear with me while I get these things worked out.

Hello everyone, I’m pleased to say that the upcoming Character Creation Training DVD is half way through the recording stage! I’ve recorded the whole introduction bit, where I introduce the new user to Blender’s interface and modeling tools, next is to do the actual character! After finding myself with a bit of free time I sat down and recorded another timelapse video. This time I chose to actually aim for a certain style, rather than just free-handing the whole thing. I was aiming for a slightly steam-punk(ish) style, whether that was achieved or not is up to you the viewers : )

It’s been a long time since I’ve updated anything here, I’ve been particularly busy. However, I can assure you that there’s some exciting stuff in the works! More news will be coming soon, I’ll just say that it’s going to be an exciting Summer!Enjoy!

I have just finished recording a new timelapse of modeling a creature head in blender for anyone interested. Original modeling time was approximately one hour, then sped up 6x for a finished time of 10 minutes. Music was supposed to accompany this timelapse but it seems YouTube was unable to process the audio upon upload…

I’m deep in the planning stages of a new project and thought I’d give you all a teaser with some shots of the simple character that will be involved. Enjoy!

After many long months of waiting, I’m happy to announce the the new training DVD for modeling the female body is now shipping!

Along with the announcement of the DVDs shipping, I would also like to mention that each of the DVDs, the female head and female body, are now available for immediate download as well; rather than having to wait for a physical copy to arrive.

The follow-up to modeling a human head is of course modeling the body. This second training DVD takes the viewer through all the processes, techniques, and explanations of creating the female body in Blender 3D. All of the companion files are included on the dvd, both model files and reference images.

Hello everyone! While out busy with my usual school/work type day a large box containing a significant number of very suspicious looking DVDs showed up at my door!  Which means… the Female Body DVD will be shipping first thing Monday morning!  I’ve just got some last minute polishing to do and then I’ll start burning and get all these things shipped out to you eager Blender Heads.
